As Turkish specialties will take a dip in the limestone terraces of Pamukkale and visit the capital of Turkey and the mausoleum of its first president - Atatürk. The finale after long journey will be relax on the beautiful beaches of the Turkish Riviera, where you can stay for longer, if you wish.
Program:
- Day 1:
Arrival to Antalya, overnight in Antalya area.
- Day 2:
Early departure to Demre. Visiting the city of St. Nicholas, the sunken city of Kekova. Drive to Pamukkale and overnight.
- Day 3:
Visiting Pamukkale, Hierapolis, overnight in Kuşadasi.
- Day 4:
Visiting Ancient City of Ephesus, the House of the Virgin Mary, City of Bergama, overnight in Assos.
- Day 5:
Drive to Canakkale, visiting Troy. Drive to Istanbul, Bosphorus cruise, overnight.
- Day 6:
Full day visiting Istanbul: Blue Mosque , Hagia Sophia , the Hippodrome , Egyptian Bazaar , drive to Ankara, overnight.
- Day 7:
Visiting the Mausoleum of Atatürk or the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, drive to Cappadocia, on the evening optional Turkish night, overnight.
- Day 8:
Full day tour of Cappadocia, visiting Goreme Open Air Museum, overnight.
- Day 9:
Visiting underground city of Kaymaklı , passing by Ihlara Valley, Cathedral Selime, drive to Antioch/Antakya and overnight .
- Day 10:
Visiting the mosque of Habibi Neccar, Church of St. Peter, Mosaic Museum, trip to Tarsus , visiting the cottage St. Paul, accommodation in Erdemli , swimming breaks.
- Day 11:
Visiting the Kizkalesi Castle, Caves of Heaven and Hell, drive to Anamur and visiting the fortress in Anamur, drive to Alanya, overnight.
- Day 12:
departure ** possible extension to 14 days with 2 days stay in Alanya/Antalya area
